A snapshot of footfall analytics

Google analytics and Mastercard spending are sharing their data to help businesses understand how the high street is performing.
Movement data is collected via sharing agreements on mobile phones and is freely available via Google Mobility.  The spend data is from Mastercard only, it does not include Visa, visa debit or cash transactions, so the evidence is only an indicator.

The green spikes on the footfall graph correspond to good weather and the easing of social contact restrictions. It looks like Walpole Park was the place to be during the lockdown.
