Are you ready for Natasha’s Law?

From Oct 1st 2021, The UK Food Information Amendment, also known as Natasha’s Law, comes into effect from October 2021 and will require food businesses to provide detailed ingredient lists and allergen labelling on foods prepackaged for direct sale on the premises. Labelling is required for food that consumers select themselves from a display unit or order from a selection kept behind a counter or buy from a mobile or temporary food outlet. The legislation is to protect allergy sufferers and give them confidence in the food they buy. The Food Standards Agency has a guide on YouTube and a Sector-Specific Toolkit for every type of food business.
