Free family fun day April 13th

The Dinosaurs are making a 'roaring' comeback on Town Square tomorrow, Saturday, April 13th, promising thrills and screams for those who dare to get close. The Dinosaur Dig, curated by Mary Anning's team, offers a thrilling opportunity to unearth a treasure trove of dinosaur bones and fascinating tales. We're introducing Baby Dragon and Wizard and eagerly await to meet you for memorable selfies. Don't worry; they are all friendly and not as ferocious as they look, and best of all, it's free to take part.

Have your say about the nighttime economy

MEET THE POLICE

The police have introduced a #Banksafe operation as Ealing is susceptible to 'cash over counter' crime due to the volume of banking facilities in the area. Criminal gangs target and follow people who draw out large sums of cash from over-the-counter inside banks. These people are then robbed as they go about their business. Within two days of the operation's start, four males were arrested for conspiracy to steal. We urge all community members to be vigilant and report suspicious activity to the police.

The police are also conducting intermittent facial recognition operations, tagging known offenders who have outstanding charges and are wanted by the police.

The SNT team has been visiting businesses to introduce themselves and hear some of the frustrations businesses deal with every day. Make It Ealing joined the team at the start of a long day! These visits are part of our ongoing efforts to support local businesses and address their concerns. Your feedback is essential and we encourage you to share any issues or suggestions.

In the latest Make It Ealing billing leaflet, we have detailed our security project and the daily issues our retailers face.

Waste Transfer Notices

Ealing council are chasing businesses for their General Waste WTN. If you cannot produce one for your business, you will receive a £300 fine. Businesses using Make It Ealing recycling services receive a Recycling WTN, which should be in addition to a General Waste WTN.
Make It Ealing will be contacting businesses using our recycling services, as all businesses need to register to get their allocation. If you want more information about the Waste Transfer notices, please get in touch with the BID office.

PLEASE DO NOT USE BIFFA TAPE TO WRAP CARD UNLESS YOU HAVE A CARDBOARD COLLECTION CONTRACT WITH BIFFA. MAKE IT EALING NO LONGER PROVIDES A SEPARATE CARDBOARD COLLECTION SERVICE,

All recycling goes into bags. A bag can be stuck outside a wrapped bundle if the cardboard is too large.

Pest  Control

We need businesses to register their contact details to continue receiving the Make It Ealing free Pest Control service, as we are moving over to electronic reports.
Please report suspected activity and ensure regular deep cleaning is recorded. When council officers inspect, they pull out all your equipment to inspect underneath and behind it. Maintaining a clean business environment prevents pest infestations and ensures public health and safety.

FOOTFALL

FEBRUARY FOOTFALL 2024

We use PFM-Intelligence as our footfall provider for insight into how our retail and commercial visitors use the area. In addition, we benchmark visitor percentages in the surrounding areas of Southall, Chiswick, and Westfields so we can monitor and compare. PFM-Intelligence helps us collect and analyze data on footfall in the area, which is crucial for understanding visitor trends and planning future initiatives.
