MAKE IT EALING NOVEMBER  NEWSLETTER 2025
The Ballot Result

In October 2025, Make It Ealing held a ballot asking businesses to vote for a new five-year term.

The current financial climate is pushing many businesses to their limits, and committing to a plan that doesn't deliver immediate ROI relative to your own baseline is a tough ask. However, you trusted our promise and the board, fellow business owners, and managers like yourselves to deliver, align resources, and achieve outcomes far beyond what any individual business baseline can achieve in isolation.

With your support, Make It Ealing has secured another five-year term, with 81% voting in favour by number and 86% by RV.

Our business plan is not about more of the same; it's your feedback on how to shape the future of business welfare on Ealing Broadway. If you want your business to be more involved, get in touch to find out how your voice can shape the future.

A CALL TO BUSINESSES FROM EALING FOODBANK

Ealing Foodbank has two BIG asks for businesses as we approach the festive season and consider people less fortunate than ourselves.

Firstly, they need their appeal promoted to the widest possible audience, so please share the link to the JustGiving page on social media.

The second BIG ask is to find a business, businesses, or an individual who would pledge to match £500 or £1000 of donations in their winter appeal. Ealing Foodbank would promote the companies on their social media and JustGiving pages as a thank-you.

Ealing Foodbank will have a stall at Ealing Broadway Christmas Market on November 30th, so pop down and have a chat if you think you might be able to donate, or email info@ealing.foodbank.org.uk for more information.

Get a QR code to display in your shop to help with donations here. Contact the BID office if you need an A4 copy printed for display.

Last Call for winter coats!

If you have a good coat that you never wear, please drop it off at the Winter Coat Donation Box 2025 outside Tesco in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre. Last year, they distributed 907 coats to vulnerable Londoners. Please don't delay, as November 21st is the last collection date.

Another great initiative by Ealing Broadway is partnering with Age UK Ealing and the Young Ealing Foundation to support people across the borough who may be struggling with loneliness. Merry Mailbox is a fantastic initiative that ensures everyone has the opportunity to spread kindness and brighten the day of someone who may be isolated from family and friends.

COMPANIES HOUSE NEW RULES

From the 18th of November 2025, all company directors, Persons with Significant Control (PSCs), and specific other roles will be required to verify their identity with Companies House. This is part of the UK government’s efforts to improve corporate transparency and reduce fraud under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.
