After a summer of dry weather and heavy footfall, it became increasing clear, and was regularly reported to us, that the pavements around the Station and parts of The Broadway were in urgent need of a deep clean. In response, Make It Ealing decided to take action to help improve the area.

Jet-washing began on Sunday night and should be completed by the end of the week. The results seem to have already made a huge difference and we really hope they have a positive impact on local businesses, residents and visitors alike.

As always we would like to thank the Make It Ealing businesses who through their funding and support, help us work together to deliver projects like this and make meaningful improvements across Ealing Broadway.

Ealing Council now charges businesses an annual licence fee of £175 for A-boards and similar freestanding advertising structures placed outside business premises.

If you would like to apply for a licence, please visit Ealing Council's My Account page: Home  · Ealing My Account

Please note that a separate licence is required for each A-board

Since the World Cup ended and the decorations had to come down, we decided to keep Ealing colourful with not only the the blooming summer baskets but also some vibrant bunting on The Green and in Oak Road. We hope it has helped brighten the town centre during the summer holidays and enhanced the appearance. We also hope to continue decorating throughout the year, keeping Ealing fun, welcoming and colourful in every season.
