Ealing Council’s arts and culture service is seeking a dynamic manager to lead on developing and running a new Cultural Education Partnership that will maximise creative opportunities for all children and young people in the London Borough of Ealing.
Fixed term contract for external candidates or secondment opportunity for Ealing Council employees for 18 months
Equivalent of 3 days per week, up to 21 hours per week
Ealing Council’s arts and culture service is seeking to recruit a dynamic manager to lead on developing and running a new Cultural Education Partnership (CEP). You will benefit from being involved from the start of this exciting programme , that will maximise the opportunity for all children and young people (CYP) in the London Borough of Ealing to have access to high quality creative experiences.
Ensuring that our CEP will be a catalyst for change, our successful candidate will be highly motivated and ambitious and with a passion for arts and culture with experience of working with children and young people. You will need to be bursting with ideas and know-how; be responsive to the needs of our local arts sector, schools and young people; be able to influence and develop strong partnerships; broker opportunities and resources; develop action plans and have strong management skills.
The successful candidate will have:
Thorough knowledge and practical experience of the creative and digital industries and CYP sectors, particularly around youth voice
Experience of managing complex projects and working at a strategic level to bring diverse partners together
Clear understanding of equality and diversity issues
Highly developed networks and strong communication skills.
