We’re taking part in The Big Draw this October. Inspired by the play of light in Pitzhanger, memory, and celebrations like Diwali and Halloween, we invite you to get creative.

Join us for an evening in celebration of our exhibition Es Devlin: Memory Palace, with tours, performances, music and a special Gimlet cocktail bar. AVM Curiosities presents a scented trail created for Pitzhanger, exploring memory, place and the senses.

Wander through rooms real and imagined in a collaborative act of memory in the performance game The Unbuilt Room by Seth Kriebel. Create a word collage inspired by Es Devlin’s library installation.

author – Johnny Pulp project – 2000 onwards. aims to do to literature what punk did for music’ (featuring amongst others Stewart Home and Tony White) – the neo-Attack! project is ongoing. One feature of the project is to place the books on the shelves of bookshops in the hope that people will find them and take them away.

Pop-down to the Pop-up for Live Music - Alsoran

Celebrating the weekend with a little live music - Friday 11 October @ 5.30pm
Alsoran are a West Ealing based duo playing their own songs on double bass and flute. Rob and Jane have been playing together for around 6 months and enjoy writing songs in a variety of different styles. Using backing tracks to add percussion to the sound, they are always are looking for fun people to play with (and a gig)!

Madhubani Art Workshop

Artist Komal Madar teaches you how to paint Indian Folk Art in a step by step approach.

All materials are provided.

BEAT Ealing Art Trail 2019

BEAT offers a window into the world of local artists and encourages their passion for creating and will provide an exciting opportunity to broaden the artistic experience, not only for the general public and local community, but also for those taking part.

Sketch Urban Ealing

Facilitated sketching led by artist and tutor Jessica Rose. Spend your lunch hour in convivial company sketching your surroundings.

This painting workshop is an opportunity to get to grips with watercolours. This is a class for beginners and people who want to get more of a grounding.

Drawing with Mindfulness

Three-week short course led by painter Nadja Gabriela Plein who shows you how to approach drawing as a meditation in itself, not something goal-oriented but a practice of listening to what is around us.
