Brief Encounter is a classic romantic drama set in 1945 during WWII in and around the fictional Milford railway station. Often it is described as the most romantic British film of all time.

At a café on a railway station, housewife Laura Jesson (Celia Johnson) meets Dr Alec Harvey (Trevor Howard).

A programme of British music ranging from exquisite miniatures about the natural world and human experience to complex masterpieces marrying text and song. Shakespeare, Shelley, Byron, Tennyson and Milton are the inspiration for works from renowned composers such as Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Holst and others, and featuring a performance of Parry’s evocative Songs of Farewell.

Enron - Lucy Prebble

Acting students from the University of West London bring you the play charting the notorious rise and fall of the company Enron and its founding partners Ken Lay and Jeffrey Skilling.

This production features an original score by London College of Music composition students.

Mixing classical tragedy with savage comedy and surreal metaphor, Enron follows a group of flawed men and women in a narrative of greed and loss set around the financial chaos of the 1990s.
