Jim Kahr hails from the Blues Capital of Chicago and cut his teeth playing alongside the likes of Junior Wells, Carey Bell, Jimmy Rogers, Koko Taylor and Sunnyland Slim.
He toured and recorded with JOHN LEE HOOKER/BOBBY BLUE BAND Revue Orchestra and has backed the likes of Buddy Guy, Lightnin Hopkins and subsequently while residing in California he worked alongside Big Joe Turner, T.Bone Walker, George Smith, Lowell Fulson and Charlie Musslewhite.
