Greener Ealing Competition Deadline

Young artists are being invited to take part in a competition to share a positive environmental message to people in the borough.

Greener Ealing Ltd, Ealing Council’s refuse, recycling and grounds maintenance contractor, is launching the competition to school pupils in the borough.

Entrants must draw, colour or paint a design that will remind residents of their environmental responsibilities. This might include recycling household items correctly, putting rubbish in a bin or ways to help climate change. You must be 18 or younger and attend an Ealing school to take part.

Free Wildlife Activities for Families

EALING Council is set to launch its updated Biodiversity Action Plan later this year and will be offering free wildlife related activities for families throughout August.

Families are invited this Saturday, June 5, to enjoy a free taster session at Walpole Park between 10am-3pm.

Families will get the chance to do some pond dipping, discover the secret world of the wormery (slow worms) and create wildflower seed bombs.
