The Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT) is back! And this year BEAT is promising to be bigger, bolder and more immersive than ever!
Ealing Art Trail Open Studios offer a very special experience. For two consecutive weekends artists open their homes and studios to show their art to the public, allowing a complete and intimate view of their work and providing a great opportunity to buy very affordable art directly from the artists.

Join Jess Chan, a designer specialising in printed textiles and natural dyes, to explore natural indigo vat dyeing techniques using the Japanese process of the shibori (tie dye) resist techniques of folding, clamping, stitching and gathering to create repeat patterns.
During this workshop you will create a hand-dyed cotton tea towel. You are also welcome to bring your own natural fibre textiles or clothing to dip in the indigo vat. Suitable for beginners and up. This is an 18+ event. All materials are provided.
