Women into Construction and West London College are looking to recruit 15 unemployed women to take part in a four-week programme, starting on 18 January 2021.

The Women into Construction programme is open to unemployed women aged 19+ and includes support with childcare. The programme will consist of:

  • Employability and interview skills
  • CV writing
  • Confidence building
  • Job hunting techniques
  • Health and safety Level 1 qualification.

The training will help you apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card, your passport to jobs in construction. It will be followed by a two-week work placement with a top West London employer. There are both office and site-based work placements including:

  • Carpentry
  • Logistics
  • Health and safety
  • Quantity surveying
  • Plumbing
  • Electricity.

To take part in the four-week programme, you are invited to join an information session on 11 January 2021 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. Please register in advance.
