It is estimated that the NHS in England and Wales losses £1.25 billion per annum to fraud/corruption (NHSCFA, 2016/17). With the cost of healthcare ($10.059 (worldwide) trillion by 2022 (Deloitte 2018 Global Healthcare Outlook), it is critical to tackle the problem to reduce funds lost from fraud and corruption.


This course is designed to measure and monitor the level of fraud and corruption in the health care sector; evaluate and assess the effectiveness of measures and sanctions put in place to prevent and counter fraud and corruption; design a counter fraud and corruption strategy; formulate and Implement policy based on a healthcare sector based understanding of 'what works'.
