Massage and Special Treatment Licensing – 31 March Renewal Deadline

Licenses for health & Beauty premises automatically expire on March 31st. Please remember it is cheaper to renew than reapply, and not having a valid permit invalidates your insurance.

A detailed list of licensable activities is available on Ealing Council’s website but the most common ones are:

• Massage treatments, including aromatherapy and reflexology
• Manicures, pedicures, facials and nail extensions
• Acupuncture and chiropody
• Tattooing, micropigmentation, semi permanent tattooing and microblading
• Ear piercing, body piercing and cosmetic piercing
• Sunbeds, laser and intense pulse light (IPL) treatments
• Vapour, sauna or other baths.
