Eid Al-Adha Festival Friday 6th June

The lights on the Eid crescent will be turned on at 7 pm outside Ealing Town Hall to celebrate the EID AI-Festival.

Celebrated by 1.6 million Muslims around the world, Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, involves sacrificing an animal during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. The sacrifice is to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail for the sake of God.
