Job Title:  Cleaning Operative – Retail Sector

Reporting to:  Cleaning Team Leader

Location:  Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre

Employment Status:    Permanent

Salary:  £9 per Hour

Hours/Shift Pattern;  42 hours / 4 on 2 off (10 hours a day) Late working: 12 noon to 10 pm

 

Purpose of the Role:  

A most loving Shopping Centre in West London is looking for a cleaning operative with the right attitude to gel into a high-performing cleaning team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate with 12-24 months of cleaning experience in a Retail Shopping Centre environment. In return, the person will benefit from working in a challenging but rewarding career with us. If you are the right candidate you will be well versed with cleaning ride-on equipment (Scrubbers, Jet wash, High-Level cleaning), recycling, basic health, and safety. You will have the right attitude with the right organisation skills to grow into this role and progress your career with us.

Job Detail:

  • Carrying out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the assigned work schedules ensuring all areas are in line with contract specification / SLAs.
  • Carrying out cleaning machine/equipment/materials checks and follow up actions within the agreed time frames and processes
  • Conducting patrols and report defects found during the task or walk around.
  • Operating and adherence to the client and Company procedures and processes.
  • Undertaking the role as per training in emergency for the operation and site.
  • Attend, represent and actively take part in all required daily briefings and training activities.
  • Flexibility to assist with local coverage during periods of holiday/sickness/absence.
  • Any other duties requested by line management.
