A view on the proposed change to Business Rates

The Heart of London Business Alliance commissioned Attis to investigate how the proposed Business Rate reform proposals will impact businesses with a rateable value over £500,000. Currently, the suggestion is for the multiplier to be increased for these businesses as this will enable the Government to reduce the level of business rates on retail, hospitality and leisure businesses with rateable values below £500,000.
