You Are Invited!

Remember the Make It Ealing Business Social. It is an excellent opportunity to catch up with your fellow BID businesses, discuss current events, and chat with BID staff about any concerns. Feedback from previous get-togethers is that 'the wine is delicious, and it's great to socialise with my business neighbour', so join us at Reineta on March 26th from 5.30 pm. To help with catering, please register here.

Recycling Allocations for 2024

We are changing the way we offer free recycling for independent businesses. We can now offer a choice. Businesses can choose to stay with Biffa or go with First Mile. Both companies will extend BID discounts on future orders across all their services.

The allocation is for recycling bags only. We no longer provide tape, as cardboard can be folded and placed into recycling bags, or a recycling bag can be stuck to the outside of card bundles.

Special Licences

Special licences for beauty treatments must be renewed by April 1st. The council should have already contacted businesses with a link to their renewal application. Please pay attention to the notices, as your insurance and public liability could become invalid without a valid licence.

Pest  Control

Mice infestations are on the rise. Be aware of suspected activity and ensure regular deep cleaning is documented. When council officers inspect, they pull out all your equipment to inspect underneath & behind.

To ensure businesses always have their pest control reports to hand, we are going to start emailing reports.

Please supply the email for the primary contact in charge of Pest control here
