Salary:                         £36,000 including OLW allowance FTE (pro rata 28 hours £28,800)

Hours:                         28 hours per week

Line Managed by        Ealing and Hounslow CVS Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive

Line Manages:            Ealing and Hounslow CVS Volunteer Coordinators

                                      Caretaker/Cleaner at West Ealing Library

Ealing and Hounslow CVS is recruiting a volunteering and communities manager to work closely with Ealing and Hounslow councils, communities, project partners and volunteers to deliver a professional, high-quality Volunteering service for both Ealing and Hounslow boroughs.

The role will also require the development and management of West Ealing Community Managed Library to build a positive and successful new environment in which community involvement and volunteering is paramount.

Other tasks will include developing Social Action activities throughout both boroughs including crowd-funding opportunities. Creating micro/digital/flexible volunteering opportunities including “one-off” engagement activities.

We are looking for someone who is: dynamic, a self-starter, able to work independently and to think strategically.
