Lockdown Two

To all our MIE businesses,
Saturday’s announcement is a blow to us all however we are here to support you in any way that we can.
What you need to know so far
Furlough Extension:
The Furlough Scheme has been extended until December. Employees can receive 80% of their current salary for hours not worked up to a maximum of £2500.
Under this scheme, the cost to employers of retaining a worker is less than it was in October. It mirrors the original scheme that was in place in August.
Flexible furloughing is allowed as well as full-time furloughing.
Employees on any type of contract qualify.
An employee must have been on an employer’s PAYE payroll by 23:59 on the 30th October 2020 (Real Time Information (RTI) submission notifying payment for that employee to HMRC must have been made on or before 30th October 2020.)

If you are on our recycling scheme, please notify First Mile what your status will be, or they will automatically stop collections.
Please let us know if you are remaining open, adapting your services; selling online; or doing Click and Collect, so that we can help you to promote this.
